MUSIC CONCERT IN SIMAT.

Hi, this weekend I went to play with Xeraco´s Youth Band.
We went to Simat where I played the drums and the Snare drum in the concert.
People cheered when the concert ended.
Simat´s band also played, then we all played a song together.
Simat is a really beautiful village.

MUSIC COMPETITION 2011

Hello, this weekend I played with Xeraco’s music band again.
We played very well.
The others were very bad but as the director was the brother one of the jury they beat us.
We were second in the end.
Next year we will be the first.

SEMANA SANATA - EASTER

This "Semana Santa" (Easter)  I played in Xeraco’s music band.

We played on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

During "Semana Santa"  - Easter Week the musicians do not get paid because we are paid for our music at other times of the year.

When we finished playing we went to eat in a local restaurant.

We all had a roll and something to drink.

XERACO'S PALM SUNDAY PROCESSION

This weekend I played with Xeraco’s music band.

We played in the Palm Sunday Procession.

In this procession I played the bass drum.

The bass drum is one of the percusion instruments that I play.

Then we went for lunch and had a great time.

XERACO'S MUSIC BAND CELEBRATES 25 YEARS.

Last weekend Xeraco's music band celebrated its 25th anniversary.

We play these songs: - “Castelo do inferno”
                                   - “Tirant lo banch”
                                   - “El Centenario”
The show was incredible.
At the end we watched a film about the history of the Xeraco's music band.

XERACO'S BAND ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD.

Xeraco’s music band played for Valencia football team in their stadium in Valencia.

The band played before the football match and in half time too.
We saw the game in the bleachers behind the goal.
Everyone was encouraging the football team.
We had a very good time.

MUSIC COMPETITION

Xeraco’s music band  won second prize in the music competition in Valencia last year.

The second prize was 5,000 euros.

In the music competition we have to play 3 pieces of music in front of an audience and 4 judges.

This year I am sure that Xeraco’s music band will win first prize in this music competition in Valencia.
